Life as a Dominatrix is a lot of fun, but can be very hard work too. Being a dynamic leader, a strict disciplinarian and a demanding sadist, is only half the story. I feel it is important to match the control and discipline with a caring and nurturing attitude, thus achieving a natural balance. Not only do I believe that the two can co-exist, but that they are both vital elements of a successful D/s relationship.

I care deeply for my slaves and love to nurture them; it pleases me greatly to see them grow, both within the D/s relationship and in their outside interests. Some may at first try to exploit this as a sign of weakness, but are quickly brought back into line, or dismissed. However, like many Dommes even when at my most sadistic, I strive to always maintain an element of compassion, though it may not be apparent at the time to those under my control. I would certainly never deny my sadistic tendencies, but they do not detract from my desire to support and give direction to my charges.

Indeed I take my responsibilities very seriously and feel it important to provide guidance and direction, as well as control and discipline. Sadly many Dommes prefer to challenge or even destroy their submissives self-confidence and spirit. I believe that this to be counter-productive. A submissive who is happy in their devotion to me, as well as confident and settled in their non- D/s life, is an infinitely better slave. My approach is to nurture and help my slaves to grow, whilst

providing the discipline and structure they need. The result is a very strong D/s dynamic, based upon two-way trust, honesty and mutual respect, where both parties can fully explore their fetishes and interests.
